    Sad to report that 2008 Champion Hurdle winner and favourite of many Katchit has died of colic at the age of 10…RIP brave boy and thanks for all the exciting races that you ran.. :cry:

    Very sad news indeed. Colic is such a horrible thing and from the report they did everything to try and save him. RIP little man.

    Very sad to hear this. Poor boy – he should have had MANY more years on this earth. RIP brave one.

    A tiny horse with a very big heart. Very sad news indeed.

    The little warrior deserved a long and happy retirement; such a shame it was not to be.

    I will never forget his Champion Hurdle win, and seeing him come down the straight at Cheltenham.

    Rest in peace Katchit!

    Katchit was one of my Dad’s favourite hurdlers of recent years. A hard-as-nails pocket rocket. There aren’t many small horses that achieved what this fine one did.

    Very Very Sad.

    Was tough as old boots and it was so exciting watching him defy the odds and win the Champion Hurdle.
