With all the recent hype/talk in jump racing seems to be about Kauto Star/Denman it seems its all gone quiet about another potential superstar Kasbah Bliss. With Inglis Drever going to run at newbury this saturday
does anyone know when he will make his seasonal reapperence over hurdles? Long Walk hurdle at xmas anyone?

With Kasbah Bliss winning a group 3 race on the flat at Longchamp in September one thing I love to see is him winning the World Hurdle in March beating Inglis Drever then going over the flat at Royal Ascot winning the Ascot Gold Cup beating Yeats in the process if that were to happen that would make him one of the greatest and most popular racehorses of all time.

I think the plan was to give him a rest after his flat exploits and just one prep race before cheltenham, probably the Cleeve. If ID is still on his game, which Saturday should show, and if Cheltenham still has a hill then KB won’t beat him!

I think the horse could possibly win a champion hurdle on easy ground imo. I’d back it, but it’s all hypothetical.

There’s no doubting the class of the animal but he’d certainly need to go some to win the popularity stakes!

I’ve no idea what route to chelt he takes (nothing on ATR site) but I’ll be following the 6yo knackerless one, for sure

Anyone know what kind of price Inglis will go off at for Saturday by the way?

Theres some decent horses in that race. Surely he wont go off odds on?

I see no reason why not, halwaytoheaven.

Blazing Bailey is the only horse in his league currently entered in the race (will have a fitness edge, having run on the flat recently), with perhaps Tazbar and Petitfour the most likely improvers.

That said, I think Kasbah Bliss is nailed on for the World Hurdle – and I’m a huge Drever fan.
