I understand all the Kane hype he is a prolific goalscorer but would you include him in the final line-up judged on what he has shown so far I’m not sure they would really miss him. There must be more effective players to take his position.
The more I know the less I understand.

If England are going to play a press game against Spain then they might try Watkins instead from the start. Kane has not been as effective for England since he’s gone to Germany.
Value Is EverythingJuly 17, 2024 at 07:18 #1702004Any striker will struggle on his lonesome up front with Southgate’s negative tactics.

Kane was injured going into this tournament
if you look back at his Spurs career, he always started a season slow as no matter how many pre season games he has its proper match fitness that counts and Kane takes longer than the average player to hit the ground running. The same for him when coming back from an injury if not longer
I guess Southgate was hoping he’d regain his game by playing him but it didn’t work out and he left out a willing runner in Watkins and a workhorse in Toney..Charles Darwin to conquer the World
