Now we are over the midway point of the flat season. We have seen a fair share of 3 year old races up to now. Is there a 3 year-old on the flat that could potentially become a juvenile hurdler and maybe a triumph hurdle type for next year. Does Alan King have any decent 3 year-olds to look out for. Usually there are plenty of Aga Khan owned 3 year-olds that switch codes is they another Zaynar in the pipeline?
August 4, 2010 at 12:10 #310887We have bought an ex Mark Johnston/Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum flat horse to go juvenile hurdling & I like him a lot. Good mover & nice attitude: CAPRICORNUS

Another Mark Johnston horse bought today at Doncaster looks interesting
Wadnaan,3yr old gelding by Shamardal bought by Ferdy Murphy for 54k. He ran well enough to finish 5th at Goodwood. Won his handicap by 10 lengths at Beverly. Not too sure about a triump fancy but one to notebook for me.
Its great to see Johnston / Al Maktoum horses go hurdling, they alwasys seem to have a great attitude.
David re Capricornus, that looks a good addition for you guys, I actually watched him win at Wolverhampton, a typical Johnston horse. One Im sure will enjoy NH racing. Best of luck to you guys with that, hopefully plenty of success!!!

Think the new one today is destined for Kalahari King owners.
