100/30 is too big to ignore for Ardad.
Joe is right about Yalta imo. This ground should suit.

I’ve backed Ardad and Yalta with a saver on Mehmas.

Ardad pulled too hard and Yalta set too strong a pace.
At least with Mehmas BOG made a small profit on the race.

Well done all Mehmas backers. :good:

    Excellent tipping Steve. :good:
Deserves to be in your sig.

Something like “My Mehmas beats Ardad”?
Then again, might seem a bit churlish if Ardad is revealed to be injured.

Well done. Even if your ego is all encompassing, you’re clearly a useful tipster. I on the other hand, couldn’t tip pegasus to win a one horse race.

Most horrendous run of my punting life. What the hell was I thinking of backing this useless Ardad. Talking about lacking scope, he’s as small as a pony.

Time to knock this horrible game on the head.

Everyone has a losing run now and again Judge.
Ardad was far too free going up in trip today. May do better at 5f or when settling at 6.

I’m just having a bit of fun with a man who loves the sunglasses and bubblegum and also the little yahoo mannie when they tip winners.

I am only a small time punter, just buttons to most people probably.

I get it wrong more often than right but it’s nice to beat the professionals occasionally.

At least I’ll admit when I back a donkey and not start speculating about injuries and pulling too hard. Yalta was supposed to have gone too fast today but still finished 3 lengths closer to Mehmas than at Royal Ascot.

The thread was started because I felt Mehmas was crazy good value bearing in mind his profile and the concerns I had about the Windsor Castle.

The rest is a little dig at someone who continually invades my posts with comments solely designed at undermining my ability to read a race.

The bait was set and the fish bit within a heartbeat. If only picking winners were as easy as predicting people.

Sorry if anyone thinks I was showboating here. I’m just Mr Average Joe Dick putting his tuppenceworth in. Plenty others on this forum can pick them at good prices better than I can. It just happened that this time, the hours I put in studying were proven correct and others also fancied Mehmas strongly.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

A fine call Mr Caution, well done, and to other Mehmas backers – looks a right wee battler!

    Does…

    Excellent tipping Steve. :good:

…sound like a comment “solely designed at undermining your ability to read a race” Steve?

What on earth are you talking about?

The forum is literally swamped with your own self-congratulation. The Ante-Post King had a cocky air to his posts but he was clearly tongue-in-cheek. There is nothing tongue-in-cheek about your posts, just an overblown ego who likes stirring the pot.

Why is it so difficult for you to just celebrate a winner without having a dig at someone?

If Hannon has a donkey yard it doesn’t leave you with many options as to what yards to back from….
