Zoffany IMO would be perfect for this race….he has a great turn off foot and had the class albeit to finish 2nd to Frankel.

With seemingly no Rocket Man, have to get all over DELEGATOR.

One who I’d like to see turn up for this is ‘Musir’!! :D
Who to my eye has the build of a real speedball! – (I just love that term!!)

Though he may prefer to go for the race that MDK won with ‘Imbongi’ (trip wise) back @ HQ back in ’09…

Another good sprint, looking forward to seeing Delegator run again and he looks the obvious one with Elzaam possibly not turning up now and heading to France instead!

Star Witness showed a burst of speed that had the whole Jubilee field on toast 1/2 a furlong out, and given kinder ground over this less taxing track, the current 8/1 way underrates his chances.

However unlikely it was to be – I won’t be seeing Soumi steaming up the hill at HQ!! :(

With no standout "Speedball" in the field (though I do like to be surprised!) I’ll have to go by name…

My iconic hero, War Artist! Can’t see any reason why he won’t run another big race. Peslier up again would be great.

Darren83 I am sooo agreeing with you, dude.

I thought BB ran a dope race at Ascart and I totally believe he will bust their butts over 6f at Newcombe.

Mega blues that the 12-1 has snapped already, lotta bucks must have come in for the guy as still most of the runners to play.

BB will slam on that fast track and I’m cracking the wave already over him, majorly!

Regal Parade if it rains; Star Witness if it doesn’t.

High draws are a big bonus in the July Cup, BB. Shame your horse hasn’t got a chance. A plus, however, is that the draw has been a negative for practically all his main rivals. Dream Ahead, Elzaam, Monsieur Chevalier drawn 2 3 4. Bated Breath and Star Witness have fared rather better in 9 and 10. Winner will be drawn in Stall 8 or higher as per the vast majority of runnings of this race.

Bated Breath for me, provided we don’t get anymore rain.

Draw (stats based on new stall ordering)

Horses drawn in bottom 5 stalls: 6-9-50

Horses drawn in the middle: 3-6-60

Horses drawn in top 5 stalls: 1-5-50

There has been a definite bias to be drawn low with 6 of the last 7 winners coming from stall 7 or lower.

    check again Zark, imo

Delegator is far and away the best horse in this race, but circumstances are, admittedly, doing all they can to thwart him. Dele’s rivals need it quick and quicker also, so they’ve no advantage from the ground, which, it seems, should now start to dry up

Ah, stalls have been changed? So what was high is now low and vice versa? Starspangledbanner came from 4 last year, before that 9 9 16 15 10 18 11 13.
