Can’t quite make a convincing enough case for him, but I’m still drawn Tó Killybegs Warrior at 66’s. Nice run at Newmarket at the start of the season, and though highly enough tried, he’s been disappointing. Not knocked about too much at Ascot, he was quietly out the back, and I think he might be a bit of a lurker for something.

Unfortunately he holds an entry at Newmarket, for which he looks just as likely to take in as this, so no option but to hold off.

Also find Eagle’s Way and Maghlaak quite interesting, but I’ll have another look tomorrow.

    Five Day Decs

Two of the original shortlist don’t make it, and Killybegs has another entry now at the weekend.

Had another look, and having thought he might not get in, I’m warming to Faylak. 33’s at the moment, and that’s tempting.

    Still no bet though

    Edit

    Faylak 33’s

    Long Tradition @ 10/1

Looked a standout when entries came out on Monday but he had another entry at York on the same day and needed about 20 or more to come out to get a run. If his new rating is correct then should have a good chance.

Long Tradition 10-1 here too, and in a race where I would usually look for a saver, I’ll settle for him and him only. Big fancy

Long Tradition is the one for me too. I just missed that earlier 10-1, but 9-1 is more than acceptable to me, as I’m confident that he will go off a lot shorter on Sat

I’m with Bobby with Faylak , there’s no doubt he’s a difficult horse to win with but the ran a cracker at Newcastle ( I reckon the plate will be Jims long term plan for him ) , he s a nice e.w play
