Will probably get lured into backing Samcro again. Not often you get to back a horse of his ability at that price. Just worry if his jumping will hold up.

Agree it will be interesting to see how Le Richebourg gets on. If he emerges as a genuine 2 mile contender, JP may send Defi du Seuil down the Ryanair route. He would be a big player there if back to his best.

Can it be re-scheduled in th enext 4-5 days? Would be a pity to lose such a cracking card.

Punchestown have said they will reschedule. Will it attract the same field? I hope so.

It goes ahead, and I think 12s about Melon might be decent value.

So don't run, just like the others always do

Did Allaho run a bit flat or was he just out for a schooling session? At first I thought oh good he is nicely relaxed and lobbing along but hope nothing wrong, he shouldn’t have go so left behind even if not fully fit. I suppose he could’ve made a belter of a mistake when they disappeared into the fog.

For all we know tornado flyer ran round all the obstacles

How else could he get that close

    Battleoverdoyen looks tripless

Allaho surely needed the run and that can be ignored, we will know more next time

Difficult to know what happened all the way round to Allaho in that fog. But that looked like a school round knowing he weren’t fit from the bits that I did see. He is usually a prominent racer and wouldn’t be surprised if those tactics will be employed next time.

As I said before the race i just dont see how it was the plan to run allaho and min against each other

He mustve been a few weeks behind in his preparation, he had been entered a few times and not declared

Be interesting to see what mullins says

That RSA form took a hit there , even if not 100% fit that was a poor run , I’ve said before and I’ll say again that race fell apart , if champ can jump that slowly and still come from nowhere to win then the form cant be great

Interesting to hear someone crab the RSA form. So far we’ve seen the 2nd Minella Indo come out and win, the some way back in 4th Battleoverdoyen win well also and Aye Right place in a Charlie Hall and a Hennessy. Obviously this was prior to today where Battleoverdoyen and Allaho both finished a way back, although without being able to see them go round it’d be difficult to look too much into that.

That couldn’t have been Allaho’s running and I can’t have the excuse off him ‘needing it’ being the lone reason for it. Knocking the RSA to such an extent seems harsh though.

The reason I question it tom is because champ won depite losing ground at his fences and then falling well behind 2 from home , u could say the 2 in front went to hard but even so in the GC , a bigger classier field the race won’t fall apart , out of the 3 minella Indo is the one I’d say could run a big race but I mentioned in another thread that allaho has a poor strike record esp for a Mullins horse , not sure where they’ll go after this , I love Battleoverdoyen but he,s very in and out , he ran ok but couldn’t mix it with a good winner
