March 22, 2008 at 10:36 #153263Keiren Fallon & Seb Sanders (flat) and Ruby Walsh & Tony McCoy (NH)
The horse plays a very important role too, lest we forget.

Johnny Murtagh, Garrett Gomez, Stephane Pasquier and William Pike.

I accept that Fallon is not everyone’s cup of tea, but ( leaving all the contentious issues aside ) there has been no stronger or more determined European flat race jockey in the last 20 years, in my opinion.

March 22, 2008 at 11:52 #153276If it’s a top race and therefore little chance of any funny business going on I would want McCoy for NH and any of Fallon/Kinane/Murtagh for flat. If I was an owner I would never allow the following near my horses:
Richard Hills, RIchard Hughes, Jamie Spencer, Paul Carberry. I’m not saying they are bad jockeys (well the first 2 are!) but rather I would not want to chance their risky riding style.March 22, 2008 at 12:06 #153279Doug Costello Davy Russell Mick Fitgerald (NH)
Seb Sanders (flat)
March 22, 2008 at 12:41 #153282Ryan Moore and Kerrin McEvoy
March 22, 2008 at 12:52 #153286Richard Hills if the horse is a front runner, and not Richard Hills if the animal needs covering up. Also, Phillip Robinson, especially the way in which he handled the enigmatic but occasionally brilliant Ratzi.
Without fear of contradiction AP McCoy for NH in my humble opinion
But overall, probably Fred Archer.
March 22, 2008 at 13:50 #153295Flat in no particular order
Ryan Moore(ultra reliable always gives his all)
Kieron Fallon(best drive sometimes doesnt give his all)
Kerrin Mcevoy(very similar to Ryan Moore)
Joe Fanning(best frontrunning pace reader)Jumps
Ruby Walsh(say no more)
AP Mccoy(same again)
Sam Thomas(ridiculously similar to Ruby Walsh)
Tony Dobbin(personal opinion is there is no one better over fences)March 22, 2008 at 15:57 #153304Hi
Well I’d have one of those robots they get to ride the camels now the small children are bannedMarch 22, 2008 at 16:02 #153306Fallon, Murtagh, Moore on the flat, over jumps Walsh and Robert Thornton. McCoy brilliant as he is never seems to do me any favours.
