I wonder if someone can clear this one up for me?
H.H. Abdulla has had 34 different jockeys riding in his colours this season (generally Queally for Sir Henry Cecil, and Moore for Mr Stoute).
However even though Stoute is often using Fallon to deputise in Moores absence he never gets near a horse owned by the Prince. Nor is he one of the other 32 jockeys who have provided back up.
As he has had previous stints as stable jockey for Cecil and Stoute, I wondered if his "antics" whilst in those roles had harmed his relationship with the Prince ?September 14, 2011 at 16:23 #370938Could the antics of the "prince" who is infamous for dumping jockeys have anything to do with Fallon not riding for him?Fallon rides for Sir Michael Stoute to the present day so no antics as you put it there.
September 14, 2011 at 16:33 #370941Think you might be being a tad unfair on Prince Abdulla mate.
He stood by Queally whilst others were knocking him re Frankel. Eddery rode for him for absolutely years. I think it was Stoute who had the issue with Hughes and not the Prince, and Hughes still sometimes rides for Prince Abdulla now.
So Starkey (RIP) lost the job after his ride on Dancing Brave. Hardly therefore renowned for dumping jockeys in my opinion.September 14, 2011 at 16:51 #370945I think that Abdulla still stood by Starkey after the Derby as Starkey rode Dancing Brave in the Eclipse. Eddery didn’t take the ride till the King George and if memory serves me rightly that was because Starkey couldn’t ride. It was only after that that Eddery kept the ride.
September 14, 2011 at 17:01 #370946I was going to make the same point re Dancing Brave. I will no doubt get castigated for it, but Dancing Brave failed to win the Derby because he didn’t come down the hill and took too long to get balanced. By the time Greville could launch his attack Shahrastani had too much of an advantage. On the day he just wasn’t able to do it.

I disagree. Dancing Brave lost in the Derby because he was too far back off a slow early pace.
September 14, 2011 at 19:04 #370957I see the Prince who is infamous for dumping jockeys provided Hughes with another winner in the 7.10 tonight. Filling in as an able depety for Queally who was not at the meeting.
Funny that !September 14, 2011 at 20:18 #370965So maybe the Prince just don’t like Kieren. However seeking a motive is going a bit into the tunnel without a flashlamp.I myself have a strong dislike for many people but I know my reasons would not stand up in the court of justice and fair play.

Or …he had a coolmore connection one of there biggest rivals
September 14, 2011 at 21:02 #370969Doubt it’s anything to do with Coolmore, given the arrangement Juddmont and Coolmore have (e.g. Frankel and Await the Dawn)
September 14, 2011 at 21:08 #370970I’m not sure how much Kieran rode for the Prince after his ride on Quiff in the 2004 St Leger, but it certainly wasn’t his most auspicious effort.

Funny that !Unless the prince was going to provide a helicopter it would of been impossible for him to get there in an hour!! approx..172 mi,3 hours 3 mins by car to get there!
Richard was 3 miles away.
September 14, 2011 at 22:04 #370977For your information royalrock Fallon already was there and rode in the 6.40.
He actually rode in the 7.10 too for Stoute (unplaced)
If you go back to my original point, Fallon never now gets to ride for the Prince – I was asking if anybody knew why – not asking for Fallon fans to defend him, when I was not criticising him.
If you wish I can give recent examples of when other jockeys have ridden the Prince’s horses when Fallon is at the meeting, and doesn’t have a ride.
Lets get back to the point of the thread mate !September 14, 2011 at 22:24 #370981royalrock – I have just re – read an earlier point of yours relating to Prince Abdulla apparently having a problem (according to you) with Fallon due to a Coolmore connection.
How do you therefore explain the Prince having no problem with Ryan Moore riding the Princes own animals trained by SMS and also riding (when fit himself) the majority of the Coolmore big race entries ?September 15, 2011 at 11:07 #371015The Prince does not approve of Fallon’s history with the authorities
September 15, 2011 at 13:21 #371023Seems like Coolmore have the same problem with Kieren. Ever since the Derby day they have not approached him.A bit self righteous don’t you think? The public behaviour of owners(Sangster for example was a serial adulterer)never bothered Coolmore*.As for a Saudi Arabian sheikh, hardly a country with the highest moral code for men.Check out the Twin Towers assault. But you are probably right about the sheikh and Kieren. Why even in a prison there is a hierarchy of crimes.
