Have just read that ‘Ted’ has died. 22. Not a bad age. We just happened to literally follow him throughout his stayers hurdle year, starting off at Bangor [that was always our start of the season meeting until we switched to Wetherby], Cheltenham and then Punchestown [still angry that Jonjo ran another horse that beat him; grr]. Must have been a horse of a lifetime for his owners. RIP
