Apples Jade
Melon
Farclas
Tombestone
Supasundae
Petit MouchoirApples Jade will be favourite and she looks like an absolute machie this year. She does tend to jump to her right so it will be interesting to see if she can get away with that going at 2 mile pace. If she jumps to her right and still destorys a filed with melon and Supoasundae in it, then I wonder would Eddie and Mick sned her to the Champion Hurdle instead of the Mares (probably not)
I’m gonna back Melon. Think 4/1 is a good price and it seemed he badly needed the run last time and according to Patrick he’s a lot fitter now.
January 29, 2019 at 20:37 #1394188Highly likely they won’t but i took 7s (or 8s cant remember lol) NRNB…..bet to nothing.
She runs in this + romps in, they’ll maybe consider it, if this happens she’ll be nowhere near her current price.
If she doesn’t, money back.
I think Melon is likeliest winner too, but he’s been quite uneasy in Betfair CH market i’ve noticed..

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 30, 2019 at 00:04 #1394219I’d like to have a bet in this, but just can’t see an angle. I’ll step back and enjoy it, and I’d love to see a big show from Apples Jade.
January 30, 2019 at 00:07 #1394220Spoke to you elsewhere about this Jack and we agree 7/1 NRNB AJ is a bet to nothing for the Champion Hurdle.
If she smashed them here and BD looked vulnerable or was beaten at Sandown Saturday, I’d just love to see Gigginstown change their plans (albeit that’s unlikely) and send her to the Champion Hurdle.
January 30, 2019 at 22:49 #1394346It’s all about Apples Jade here, and I’m another who would love to see her go for The Champion Hurdle should she win here.
January 31, 2019 at 10:37 #1394377Looks a bit messy to me
Apples Jade is a class act but at the distance may need to force it a little from the front end which could play into Melon’s hands. Trouble with Melon is I think he needs a Cheltenham festival pace to be seen at his best, not sure Apples Jade will set a suicidal pace if they decide to led.
I think Farclas is better than he has shown this season. 1st time out in the Hattons got smashed and then fell the last day when beaten but I think he’s better than the 33’s but a shame only the 2 places and not 3 as unlikely to trouble the judge for the winners spot but maybe not a million miles behind.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 31, 2019 at 16:08 #1394407Yes AJ has not run over two miles since the 2016 Fighting Fifth where she was just held by Irving. There is also a thought that she is better when kept busy although it is only just over a month since her last run. Obviously the 7lb pull in the weights is the big advantage. She is rated only 2lb lower than Melon and one lower than Supasundae.
January 31, 2019 at 22:51 #1394461Nathan, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I agree about Farclas. I know the risks attached with following the last years juveniles, but I think he will prove to be decent over the next two or three years. I’m not saying I’ll bet him, but he is tempting me each way, even with the small field.
