Ile Atlantique 10-3 win
Think he’ll give Majborough a race anyhow.
January 30, 2025 at 16:05 #1719168It’s the same for me Greenasgrass with Ile Atlantique at 10-3
January 31, 2025 at 19:00 #1719252I’ll try Jeannot Lapin. This is miles tougher than last time, but I liked the way he did it, and I’ll happily give him a chance to back that up.
I’ll happily take bigger if I see it
Jeannot Lapin 40’s EW
January 31, 2025 at 20:04 #1719269Firefox is probably not good enough to trouble the front two, but I’ve taken him at 17-2
January 31, 2025 at 23:46 #1719301If the Mullins duo disappoint and Ballyburn races too keenly at 2m5f Sunday…
Could Ballyburn still end up as the Mullins representative in THE Arkle?
Value Is EverythingFebruary 1, 2025 at 06:30 #1719306I suppose they might argue that going left-handed at a more galloping track would suit Ballyburn better than Kempton. Interestingly, the RP standard time for two miles on the Old Course is only two seconds slower than that for the minimum trip around the Sunbury track.
Anyway, it won’t make any difference: Sir Gino will still leave him standing.
February 1, 2025 at 10:40 #1719340I’ve played Firefox to , I’m not convinced the fav is a brilliant jumper , it’s was very much follow him home last time with the stables 2nd string , it wouldn’t surprise me if Mullins other won however I’m hoping there much bolder show with Firefox today and put the fav jumping to question
February 1, 2025 at 15:02 #1719428Very nice from the winner.
Townend making zero effort to stay in touch, I wonder if IA bled or will they just say ground too quick, never travelled.
(My putting him my TTF was probably the kiss of death though)February 1, 2025 at 15:02 #1719429That absolutely stank as a race
Ile Atlantique held up ?
February 1, 2025 at 15:06 #1719430The winner has an engine but Sir Gino will jump him daft , he’s just not a natural and I can see him struggling when he really does have to jump at speed
February 1, 2025 at 15:06 #1719431Mark it didn’t look like IA was able to keep up, he looked off it today for whatever reason.
February 1, 2025 at 15:10 #1719433Not trying to win was the issue , I made more effort this morning opening the curtains ….
February 1, 2025 at 15:17 #1719436Awesome performance.
An Arkle for the ages on the way if both him and Sir Gino make it.
I’m on Malborough at 6s and Sir Gino at 8s.
February 1, 2025 at 15:21 #1719439I wouldn’t go overboard GM , he hasn’t had a race over fences yet , are you not concerned with his jumping
February 1, 2025 at 15:30 #1719441I think Sir Gino has nothing to worry about. The winner got in a bit close to a few fences, but somehow still managed to jump them without any real mistake. He clearly has talent, but isn’t in SG’s class.
February 2, 2025 at 12:37 #1719626Anything come out about the run ( or easy ride ) of Ile Antique
