Well done to Paddy Brennan, rode Johnson to sleep, challneging wide and stoking him up whilst Johnson was finding trouble on the inner going to 2 out.

Glad to see Inglis Drever win and glad to see Black Jack is OK.

First the favourite falling early in the Champion Chase now the World Hurdle. Robbed the race of some of its interest. Worthy winner though.

If you missed the presentation, it’s a cut glass globe about 2 – 3 ft across with a rudimentary map of the continents etched onto it, the whole being held in what looked like a chrome plated frame – Ughhhh!

What a tough horse he is to keep coming back after so many seemingly hard races.
