Can anyone tell me who trained the one eyed mile/mile and two handicapper Blockade in the 80’s??.
Cheers P
August 25, 2010 at 12:08 #314590P Cole and R Hodges trained Blockade a 2 mile stayer,Belpor was a one eyed 8 to 10 furlong horse if my memory is ok. I hope this is some help.
If you go to back a certainty always buy a return ticket.
August 25, 2010 at 12:12 #314595The Blockade I remember was trained by Michael Bell throughout a long career, but he didn’t start racing until 1991.
Wore red and grey colours, raced mostly over 1M, and recorded his last win as a 10-year-old.

August 25, 2010 at 12:14 #314598There was a Blockade which ran in the 80s, sometimes at longer trips, that was trained by P Cole/R Hodges on the Flat and by R Hodges/R Barber over jumps.
Blockade USA ran in the 90s.
Was not aware that either was one-eyed.
