If S Bin Suroor were asked to move on who would take over? Also can you think of any other realistic candidates?
June 22, 2007 at 21:20 #66237John Quinn, Ger Lyons or Mick Halford, give them the right material and they would do just as good as any Suroor or O Brien.
Voted for ismail as none of the above was on your list, aidan.

never noticed, Davey, had a few pints of heineken, so forgive my lapse.
June 22, 2007 at 21:41 #66240Hello,
I believe it would be the American guy who is rumoured to be running the whole shabang anyway!
I remember reading years ago, as an Arab, Bin Suroor was always a front man only??
But unfortunately there is no evidence that is so…or is there?
regards,
doyley
June 22, 2007 at 23:25 #66241Why not Andre Favre and run the operation from France?
June 23, 2007 at 07:31 #66242In my opinion they’ve not quite been the same since Jeremy Noseda left.
June 23, 2007 at 10:42 #66243and hes the one who could take it over
June 23, 2007 at 10:43 #66244But i would go for ….
Alan berry :)
June 23, 2007 at 10:51 #66245Fabre wouldn’t take it in a million years.
Tom Albertrani, maybe.
June 23, 2007 at 11:06 #66246Why this kind of speculation anyway? Bin Suroor isn’t going anywhere. If we’re just starting threads for the sake of it why not start one asking "if Micheal Stoute, Mark Johnston and Peter Chapple-Hyam were to quit tomorrow, who will take over their stables?" . All as unlikely as Bin Suroor being asked to leave.
Sorry for sounding cynical Aidan, but it’s just one of your many recent topic starters that bear no relevance to what’s actually going on in racing and another example of beginning a thread because you seem to have nothing else to do. Maybe Cormack can start a fantasy section for stuff like this:biggrin:

June 23, 2007 at 11:57 #66247I’ve voted for ‘other’.
Perhaps Aidan O’Brien is looking for a promotion?
June 23, 2007 at 12:16 #66248Other trainers were tried with their 2yo’s without success.
