I have to be with Silver Touch here. Ok, I often steer a little clear of Channons performers but Wake up is held (ableit oldish form) and red Evies last too runs were disturbing. Big Stronghold fan and Gosden can certainly get them right first time out, but hes hinted that the run will be needed

I have a suspicion that Red Evie may be slightly better over this stiff 7f than she is over a mile?
Although she has won 1m races at the top level, for one reason and another sha hasn’t been highly tried until her last 2 runs, both of which she weakened in the final furlong, and today’s race could be right up her street.
I have it between her and Dark Islander, who is probably better at 1m but should get a good tow from Welsh Emperor.
