I have a horse that is giving trouble jumping from the gates during race.
He works ok from the gates….BUT on raceday he does not jump fast enough.
    Anyone has some solution?

    Regards

Send him hurdling – no gates there!

You could get a stall handler to do a Zarkava for you…

Pause at the very start of the vid. 8)

Check out the workrider back at home. Good? Experienced?
    Change the jockey.
Make sure he’s not having an ‘off’ day.

Haven’t watched the Zarkava vid but get your jockey to ask the stalls handlers to whack the horse on the bottom as the gates open. It should soon learn to ping them.

Make sure it doesn’t drift – drifters often miss the break.
