The best waves are in Newquay but it’s where you get the worst people! :(
July 24, 2004 at 19:27 #93699 Glad to hear it Beakman.
It was your eyes that caused me initial concern.
They seem more startled and portrude far more
than your last pair.
July 24, 2004 at 21:16 #93700I found this site whilst looking for racey material.:o
July 24, 2004 at 21:28 #93701It seems oh so long ago now, I cant actually remember how the yarders found our way here but we were in limbo for a few months after the Channel 4 forum closed until we found our new home!
July 24, 2004 at 21:52 #93702Dear Mr Sheep

July 24, 2004 at 23:21 #93703Dear Mr Beaker,
your new you seems so different from the old. It is more than eyes, I am sure of, you seem so light of spirit. A new man, and I certainly can remember your old rants ;)
July 25, 2004 at 12:23 #93704Could you be implying that just maybe an imposter is lurking, whilst riding on the tail fin of a legend?
Have to agree about the waves in Newquay I was in a B+B there not so long ago and a very very pretty blonde waved at me :). Wont say what happened next;)

July 26, 2004 at 17:30 #93706I was surfing the net for references to legendary punter Pat Naylor and was directed to this site.

July 26, 2004 at 21:40 #93708I was looking for references to Burrough Hill Lad after he’d died, and there was a post about him on here. I remember being fascinated that finally I’d found other people who shared the same passion as I do. It took an age to get myself joined up, but I’m glad I did. I’m really enjoying it here.
July 27, 2004 at 01:53 #93709I recently came across this unusual ad in the Newquay Advertiser.
Win a crispy tenner by spotting and waving at the strange boarding house mystery shopper, who is currently touring the cheaper B&B’s in town. He is fairly easy to spot, with his piped head, poppy eyes and awkward smile. ÂÂÂ
July 10, 2007 at 10:47 #107049Can’t quite remember now whether it was a search for racing fixtures or a sweep of the Interweb for – who else but – Quixall Crossett that drew me here over three years ago, but drew me it did. No prospect of me leaving any time soon, either!

November 27, 2007 at 13:08 #127393I just followed the sound of galloping hooves and… voila!

March 10, 2008 at 13:00 #149447I think I did a search on a horse – can’t remember which one now – and came across it via Google.
I’m really sorry I did not know of its existence far earlier, as there are so many archive topics to which I would like to contribute. Probably still will !
April 23, 2009 at 21:26 #223243I found this forum when I was looking around for a forum where I could meet more race fans. I live in the Netherlands and don’t get to see many races here, I am also very new when it comes to races. I don’t know much about it and I hope to be wiser, joining this forum.
