I was looking for references to Burrough Hill Lad after he’d died, and there was a post about him on here. I remember being fascinated that finally I’d found other people who shared the same passion as I do. It took an age to get myself joined up, but I’m glad I did. I’m really enjoying it here. :cool:

I recently came across this unusual ad in the Newquay Advertiser.

Win a crispy tenner by spotting and waving at the strange boarding house mystery shopper, who is currently touring the cheaper B&B’s in town. He is fairly easy to spot, with his piped head, poppy eyes and awkward smile.

I think I did a search on a horse – can’t remember which one now – and came across it via Google.

I’m really sorry I did not know of its existence far earlier, as there are so many archive topics to which I would like to contribute. Probably still will !

I found this forum when I was looking around for a forum where I could meet more race fans. I live in the Netherlands and don’t get to see many races here, I am also very new when it comes to races. I don’t know much about it and I hope to be wiser, joining this forum.
