I found the site while looking up a Clare Balding reference search on the net which retrieved the trf interview with her.

It’s hard to bellieve the forum has more than a couple of hundred really active members. Does anyone know how the TRF has promoted itself ?

The Racing Post used to have an internet section, which I cannot see now. There was a piece about Alan Potts and he mentioned the site.

I found it in February 2002 on some Nashwan links site or something (can’t remember the URL but it was a page full of racing links with Nashwan at the top).

I found the site on a search engine but can’t for the life of me remember exactly what I was looking for.

One of my better decisions as I have met some lovely people through the forum and its various syndicates.

Found it via google on a night shift.

The level of debate if higher and itt seems to attract more sensible folk than the old C4 one which towards the end was littered with wallies. <br>

A horseracing game i used to play (European Sim Racing) had it as a sponsor at the bottom of the site.  Glad i found it now and is a cool site along with many others.

I was asked this question in the chat room last Nov…that was in the days when the regulars in there were my friends

I said.. surfing…  this brought a spate of quick-fire replies from the ‘witty in-crowd’..  eg..  " have you got a surfboard then jilly "..   and… " i had one once,i broke it,now i have two."

    nuff said.

Believe it or not, I was looking for a place that gave my intellect on horse racing some competition   and at random typed in ‘theracingforum’.com, .co.uk, and .net to see what appeared.  I obviously found theracingforum.co.uk LOL
