    I missed this one … Unseated at Aintree 9th April and Racing Post says fatally injured … my FB friends seemed to think as I did that he was OK … but sadly not …

    I saw the unseat and remember Holt saying “The horse is fine” and it immediately galloped away and looked okay.

    Sad to hear about his demise.

    Does anybody know what happened to him? I saw Harry Cobden commented that the horse had been lost which really surprised me. I rewatched the race and he got up after the fall and even jumped the next hurdle and he looked fine. So sad. RIP 😪

    I don’t know what happened to him, but assume he incurred a serious injury during his fall. To be honest it did look bad at the time, and I was surprised to see him galloping away seemingly unharmed. A very sad loss, RIP Houx Gris.
