Can anyone see either Honolulu or Acapulco switcing codes and having a tilt at next years Triumph Hurdle? I think Honolulu is the type that could make it over hurdles. I personally think neither horse had much of a future at stud and will probarbly end up being gelded. Also both horses are owned by Derrick Smith and doesnt Derrick Smith missus have a lot of horses trained by Jonjo O’Neill. Didnt Mountain move (owned by Derrick Smith) move to Jackdaws Castle and go hurdling in the Gay Smith colours? I like to see coolmore have a policy where most there middle distances horses and stayers with no future at stud move to Jonjo O’Neill and switch codes after all Jonjo O’neill trains horses for John Maginer, Micheal Tabor, JP McManus and Gay Smith all of them have links to Coolmore. It might not work overnight but give it time and intersting things code happen at Jackdaws Castle.
