I think that is the real Majborough. They weren’t going overly fast, he was under no pressure and his jumping was still manky. It doesn’t look like greenness it’s a physical or mental inability to learn and improve.

He’s not a chaser full stop. Jumps like El Fabiolo.
December 7, 2025 at 20:40 #1747007Majborough is still young and has a big engine but chaser looks a step far too far at this point in his development
That mistake in the Arkle may have stuck in his head as he jumped woeful todayGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 8, 2025 at 04:57 #1747010Hurdles sounds like the right idea but they’ll keep going over fences for now , Mullins still hasn’t hit top gear yet , just proves how good new yard star IET is

December 8, 2025 at 10:03 #1747022I’ve read the hurdles comments, not for me, not yet anyway. He jumped ok before Cheltenham apart from jumping right. So run him on left handed tracks, give him some extra schooling over fences, and consider going up in trip would be my angle for now and see if that works.
