Have to take the loss on the chin & given back the bookie his dosh….

But the ride B J Geraghty gave Lord Ragner has to go down as one of the BIGGEST NON TRIERS in the last week…….terrible…
Anyone who defends his ride obviously laid LR & well done…..
Surely there should be someone neutral within racing = eg ME who could give this jockeys a good public flogging & sort the pulling of horses out for once & for all……why is non triers such a hush – hush topic…..
I wrote into matt Chapman one day last week & he wouldn’t read out my email, yet said he totally agree’s with me…but nothing more is done..
Im aware the bookies fund the racing & have alot of the jockeys on the pay roll…but isn’t enough enough???
Looks like everyone goes along with the flow….no courage!!

Just in case you may think im an edjit that i lost all of my profit etc
Not at all….i may come accross like a un disciplined punter, but believe me i did put away a good % into my own account after i had a crazy 6pt bet last week.
I then started with a smaller starting bank again which i blew over the weekend…but hey, that’s me & i’ll do the same again & again……lol
NEVER JUDGE THE BOOK BY THE COVER!!…..

Anyway it takes me about 3-4 hrs to come up with my selections & at the moment i keep on coming placed or the jockeys pull the head of the horses etc….
funny how no one ever has an opinion on this daily occourance!!
So ive reverted back to a old system of mine that i can pick out ponies in minutes, its the number 4 & number 5 system….here goes

As you can see this number 4, 5 or 8 system gives a good run for the money apart from the pony yesterday….very simple & i find selections within 10 seconds of looking at card….no hours of studying!!

As you can see the number 4 or 5 system gives a good account for itself.
3 selections today & one of them wins at 5/1.

7.40 Keenes Royal 13/8 looks the business imo……looks like a good 10pt bet…note this is not a number system bet.

Well that was a lovely result in the 7.40, got well backed in too.
Had a look at the next race at kempton &
8.10 Tom Folan 9/1 looks a good value ew .
If you back for the place on exchanges you’ll get 3rd place also.
Im only having a .25pt ew = 1/2pts bet altogether. …fun bet!!

Still the numbered system 1,4,5,8, where i have found the selection within seconds of looking at the card….going alright at mo & why change??…..note these are just pass the time bets .10pt = a tenth of my usual 1pts minimum bets….so nothing to get too excited about but still gives a run for the money…
I’ll be back with some stronger bets for the evening where i’ll be parting with BIGGER money = where ive actually studied the ponies etc.

8.00 Kingsgate Castle & Resplendent Alpha in a small RF or both in singles.
8.30 Todber…in what i would class as the smallest EW you want to do, but remember the 3rd place is being paid on exchanges…..

You may have stumbed on to something

When I worked in a bookies in the sixties one of the old punters used to back all the number 1 horses in handicaps only in doubles, trebles yankees etc.
His reckoning was they were the best horses in the race.
Logical.
It was amazing how often he had a decent win.
I see another handicap as well as King Jack was won at Huntingdon today by the No1 also at a decent price. Would have paid well for the double

Well no 1 in H’caps is supposed to be the best horse…..its knowing when to hit them….got 20/1 on it this morning….

Over 2k matched for the place on Todbar @ 4. = 3/1….not all by me though…..lol…only a weenie bit of that!!

The trouble with systems is you need to back every horse that fits the chosen criteria
Start putting you own fascies into the equation and you are no longer operating a system

I quiet agree Cheltenham….but ive got the attitude at moment not to look too much into it= (studying )…im just skimming the surface *& not too dissapointed if not firing…..ive got more time for the lovely ladies in my life, instead of being stuck to the pc by night….

Not laying out massive money on the numbered system at mo …. quite a few thrown up at me today & i have no reason not to do any of them…
Remember only a tenth of a 1pt i usually do, so no damage can be done if a few losers….. but after the last two days results there’s no chance of worrying yet!!
