Just wondering if someone could help me out.
A few of my friends and I are planning to go to the July Cup Sat 9th July, but as we’re students we obviously want to get the concession price. However, you can only get the concession on the day, and we’re not sure whether to risk leaving buying the tickets til then. If anyone could tell what the attendance has been the last few years, and advise whether we could get away with leaving the tickets til on the day, that would be great.
Thanks guys.

No way of knowing, as this is the first time the race has been staged on Saturday. I doubt if even Newmarket are able to accurately predict the size of the crowd.
I’d suggest you phone them and ask the question.

I’ve never turned up on the day and not being able to buy tickets at the gate, some of those include the Epsom Derby, King George day Ascot, Juddemonte International etc, some very busy busy days!
