Hi i run the countrys largest greyhound forum (5000 members)at present there is a battle going on to save our top track walthamstow from closure,please help by emailing

Walthamstow is a smashing track, very fair bends and plenty of room up the straight. Such a shame they want to scrap it when we have the likes of Kinsley on BAGS!

August 11, 2008 at 16:54 #176735I recently visited Belle Vue (Manchester) dogs and was leafletted by a few protesters outside the track.
I waited a few weeks before reading the leaflet but the details therein were very thought-provoking and I’m really not sure that I’ll go to “the dogs” again while this level of natural wastage continues.
I’d be happy to hear the case for the defence if anyone can point me in the right direction.
