    Oh no. Another old favourite gone. But he had a great retirement. And it was lovely that so many people were able to visit him over the years. RIP

    It was a mini-golden age; Hardy Eustace, Brave Inca, Macs Joy, Harchibald, Al Eile, took each other on regularly.

    Hi all, from a newcomer…

    Still remember his 2005 Champion Hurdle win, with Harchibald looking like he was absolutely cruising and then doing naff all in the last fifty yards.

    Another old friend lost but good that he got to enjoy a decent retirement sleep tight lad.

    Harchibald was the ultimate bridle horse , you knew as soon as he was asked ….nothing , Hardy by comparison was the soldier charging the enemy by himself , 2 wins and a 3rd in the Champion hurdle is some record
