Many thanks David and I agree this is way more than just a racing forum. It’s a place where
people find mutually minded racing enthusiasts and also where friendships are formed that
last for years. As you say, Bobby (VTC) and Matron have found the right measure to keep
all in check, without being overbearing. We have a lot to thank them for. As jac (tryptych)
has already pointed out, all the hard work of many who put hours (and hours) in to keep the
competition threads fires burning and all the tipping threads and those made just for fun
or serious political jousting. We’ve got the lot
If this place were ever to close, you would see carnage on the streets which would make
the storming of the Capitol Building in the US look like handbags at ten paces.I want to wish the happiest and healthiest 2025 to all of the family that make TRF
what it is, with a touch of luck on the gee-gee’s too

good luck to allJanuary 1, 2025 at 19:42 #1717315I haven’t been posting much recently, but a quick message to wish all TRFers a very happy and healthy 2025.
Thank you to everyone who helps make this site the great place that it is – the admins of course, the people who run the competitions, and the many posters who contribute their views.
In an age where brevity and superficiality reign supreme, it is pleasing that this site continues to provide so much thoughtful and expert comment. Long may it continue
January 4, 2025 at 12:24 #1717476Happy New Year to all especially David and the team for running this forum so well.
So many good threads and I must apologise for not being so present in the last nine months or so but thanks to the wonderful Liz Truss I had to go back to work in April and it has definitely limited my contribution to the forum. Both Mrsraymo and I love the competitions as you all know and hopefully we can keep running those this year even without the cake race which has had to be reduced due to me being diagnosed with diabetes (not related I am assured LOL).
Anyway I digress. Have a wonderful year everybody and love and support everyone you can and look after each other
