Just been reported on ITV that he broke down on the flat in the second race of the day, the Arkle.

Yes, saw him stumble coming into the final bend and thought that’s what had happened. RIP.

Ah, what a shame. A sickener at the start of the festival.

What happened to him? He was well in contention and staying on for fourth. As the first three entered the straight I saw him go very wide at that turn, but I didn’t expect an injury. Such a shame, especially for the Moore stable that had it’s share of injuries in the past.

Such a shame – running a good race and had completed in all his previous 20 races … poor lad … much sympathy to his connections.

Stumbled resulting in injury or went wrong on bend, broken foreleg I would say. Poor boy rip xxx

From the glimpse I got looked like a leg gave way. Was runnning finr and then wasn’t.
