Think this is the bet of the week for me at 12/1 e/w she looks like she could drift the way the markets sitting, will just keep topping up if so
June 21, 2023 at 18:48 #1652665OMG, I had literally just gone onto this thread and was about to post the exact same thing!
I could not agree more – 12/1 Caernarfon is gigantic, win or lose, for the 1,000 Guineas fourth and Oaks third in this.

I’m a bit surprised dettori is on epictetus not torito
Surely they will try dropping epictetus back to a mile at some point
He’s finished weakly over 1m2f 3 times now but they keep persisting
Was half expecting him to run in the St James Palace
June 21, 2023 at 21:48 #1652698I’ve been a fan of CAERNARFON and backed her in every race since I was there to see her win at Newmarket last October 22 at some great SP’s for her Guineas 4th and Oaks 3rd and I’m hoping she will win tomorrow.
Another of my notebook horses WAIPIRO is also running so I have to do them both as they are both in my Tote 10 To Follow so hoping one of them wins, hopefully Caernarfon.

Caernarfon – EW
Waipiro – EW
Reverse ForecastBest of luck Ham and Ian and really hope she wins this, it’s been a bookies benefit so far and after two days have only backed
3 winners Paddington, River Tiber and Gregory so not making a fortune at the moment.
Thankfully it’s not all about the betting for me but a couple of nice price winners wouldn’t go amiss at the moment.Have a good feeling about this one Jack Channon has been very patient with Caernarfon waiting for the perfect race, he obviously believes she can take on the boys and win.
Come on Caernarfon
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 21, 2023 at 21:52 #1652699Caernarfon meets the entire field on at least 6lb better terms than she would if this was a handicap and Jac’s words – and Jac spotted Caernarfon first! – just boost the hopes of a really good run tomorrow.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 21, 2023 at 22:10 #1652703Thanks Ian that gives me a bit of confidence after a couple of disastrous days.
With that advantage over the field I’ll have everything crossed for her tomorrow.
This is the race I’m most looking forward too of the whole meeting.
Best of luck .. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 21, 2023 at 22:34 #1652710I’m a believer in backing horses who have run in Classics dropping back in grade and Caernarfon hits those credentials twice.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 22, 2023 at 10:56 #1652761Caernarfon for me.
No surprise there as i’m a sucker for a decent Channon horse
June 22, 2023 at 11:04 #1652762Exoplanet @ 11.5
I really hoped he would go for a handicap this week as i think he would of been chucked in, maybe a good sign but this is a lot more difficult.
I never backed him last time but it was an amazing run really, without a doubt the best horse in the race. Nothing was stopping but he must of made up 20 lengths, then stumbled trying to jump a carrier bag in the straight and was just beaten in the end.
Committed more than confident now though.
June 22, 2023 at 11:34 #1652767Caernarfon ew 4 places. Ought to be thereabouts on the ratings.
June 22, 2023 at 16:35 #1652865See you’ve Napped her in the Ascot Compy Mike..
Hope she wins for everyone.
Not long now.

I went for Waipiro in the endGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
June 22, 2023 at 17:34 #1652886I’m on Waipiro too.
There were a few horses who didn’t quite perform as expected in the Derby and Waipiro was one of them. Should make the frame IMO.
June 22, 2023 at 17:40 #1652887WD all 3 of you- loyalty rewarded Jac
