Half way through the year or thereabouts so I ventured down into the basement
its where all the cool forum members hang out when not posting on here…. I’m sure you have all been down there once or twice..Gamble and the Crouching Menace are regulars
Anyway to business… I conducted a poll and asked “Who will NOT be voting for Chezza at the end of year Awards”?
The result was quite unanimous

Charles Darwin to conquer the World
June 14, 2023 at 10:00 #1651448Chezza would like to point out there are no degrees (“quite,” “fairly” etc) of unanimity – a vote is either unanimous or it is not.
Same deal with “unique” (another absolute) – something is either unique or it isn’t.
Sadly, however, clearly this vote WAS unanimous.
“There Ain’t No Love For Chezza In The Heart Of This City” (paraphrasing Whitesnake) – but that’s not unique either!
Chezza HATES Hughesey!

June 16, 2023 at 05:31 #1651614Hanging about with gamble …. that’s just sad
June 16, 2023 at 11:06 #1651628You’ve successfully drawn me out Ground

These blissful days of sunshine are sorely not to be missed, and granted some elevated citi suits can, with a bit of slick, substitute the sun by kicking the markets back and forth by producing their own heat and consequently browning off the losers – but have a thought for the cannery workers trapped in their metal sweltering straightjackets with the big eyed machines close by vying to set them free.
The sun comes directly through my large window as I write and bathes any stiffness in me in it’s embalming comforting warmth. Monet would see the colours differently and ache for the countryside 🌈 but to my mind the citi trees I’m looking at now have history and heart and, are possibly trapped and rooted like me, but there’s a grandeur about their pain that somehow beats their flippant cow loving country cousins.I have been quite surprisingly analysing the markets again after a long break – ignoring the plethera of piled up in my overloaded in box and as they sprayed the initial 4000 gallons before the first race of the late evening early morning meet at Belmont Park yesterday four anglo eyes were watching. Yes gamble had broken out of the sock drawer – he loves a nag puzzle.
The two races on grass were a pleasant interlude..Few people hang around in my presence – I used to consider myself reasonable company some years back but I have downgraded myself of late to plating class and I possibly should be living in a tree house with the birds.

I think Gamble uses it as a text book!I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
