I’ve had a sneak preview of this new title and it is an absorbing account of the background and detail of the Queen’s lifelong interest in racing. I’ll be doing a full review of it for the weekend but I can tell you it is a prize worth having. If you don’t win it be sure to buy it.

To be in with a chance to win you simply have to select three horses in both the 2,000 and 1,000 Guineas (run on Saturday and Sunday respectively) and the aggregate finishing positions of your six selections will be totalled up. Whoever scores the lowest aggregate total will win. (So, for example, if your selections finished 3rd, 5th and 7th in the 2,000 Guineas and 1st, 4th and 10th in the 1,000 Guineas you’d score 30 pts)

In the event of a tie whoever has the highest priced selection (regardless of finishing position) among their six selections will win. If still a tie whoever posted their selections earliest will win.

You must select for both races before 2 pm on Saturday

Oh – and did I forget to mention, YOU CANNOT INCLUDE EITHER CAMELOT OR MAYBE IN YOUR LISTS!!!!

TRF judges decision is final in event of dispute, etc.
