I have been offered the chance to transfer my tickets to 2021 or get a refund.
Why are they doing it this and not waiting to see if they will be run this year and if not then offering to transfer or a refund?
April 10, 2020 at 12:45 #1487218It would make sense to me at least that when the lock down restrictions are lifted it should still be some time before mass gatherings are allowed to avoid hitting a fast 2nd wave of the virus.

April 10, 2020 at 12:50 #1487220Maybe, but could they not have waited until such a decision is made.
April 10, 2020 at 12:56 #1487223Maybe they have offered because of the change / unknown date of it taking place

April 10, 2020 at 19:10 #1487237I’m still waiting to hear from Newmarket about what is going to happen regarding my Members Badges this year. The Craven Meeting was due to to run next week and so far Badge Holders have been left in the dark.
What can they do?…wondering if they’ll transfer my Badge to 2021 but then the season runs to the end of October so where would we stand if racing resumed?Obviously the Nations health takes priority always…but it must be the biggest headache of all time for Racecourses that rely on their regular racegoers and cooperate entertaining to have only sent their Badges out less than a month ago now wondering if any thing other than closed door racing will take place.
