    A treble for Nicky Richards at Ayr today. I am delighted to see him have a change of luck after all the travails of recent weeks and months. As a northener I long to see yards thrive up here and hope Greystoke is beginning to turn around.

    Yes, wasn’t that just brill – must be down to the return of Monet’s – he’s given them all a pep talk. Let’s hope the better luck carries on for them.
