HARGAM 14/1
Loves fast ground which i hope he gets he travel well in triumph hurdle but hated the ground other Henderson runners are TOP NOTCH who i heard go down the world hurdle route so may not go here. L’Ami Serge going over fences. While the owner has THOMAS EDISION. That horse not have the potential of HARGAM he do for me.
November 9, 2015 at 18:52 #1220913Was actually getting really keen on Karezak as this race got closer, but he’s not been declared, but he’s a horse I’ll be keeping a very close eye on
Going to have a look and see if I can dig anything out, but at first glance, it looks a somewhat disappointing line up. Likely to swerve it unless I can dig out something in the next 48 hours, though I’m sorely tempted by a few quid on Starluck at 50’s just for the hell of it.
November 9, 2015 at 21:33 #1220921Have to say if the ground dried up Starluck would have a great chance and if you can get 50s that’s a bet to nothing
November 9, 2015 at 22:11 #1220925Hargam did not look comfortable last week; seemed to be running a bit with the choke out…not something I like to see
November 9, 2015 at 22:27 #1220928This looks as poor a renewal as I’ve seen. Sounds strange to say about a handicap but it does seem a real handicappers race. Olofi tempts me each-way.
November 9, 2015 at 23:31 #1220941Mad Jack Mytton (Jonjo can’t have had many runners in this) at 25s, and Ebony Express at 22s will do for me
November 10, 2015 at 20:33 #1221051Agree with the general comments that this seems a below average renewal. Renneti looks a very big price at 25/1. It’s hard to know if he’ll run but given he has fitness on his side and made the trip across for a flat handicap a couple of weeks ago, I’d guess he’ll be the Mullins runner. He’s not the most straightforward but split The Tullow Tank and Arctic Fire as a novice and is in good form.
November 11, 2015 at 22:59 #1221254Olofi was one of the first ones that caught my eye too but on closer inspection I don’t think he’s as well handicapped as I thought he might have been….ran some great races for me down the years at Cheltenham though.
Pretty unoriginal I know but the one carrying my money is Mick Jazz.
Right down at the bottom with no weight and potentially better than his current mark after a couple of placed efforts behind horses who’ve gone on to do much better…Travelled supremely well right up to the last and just gave best on the run in to Top Notch.
In the hands of a very talented trainer, he’s sure to have improved since that effort and hopefully toughened up a bit and looks to me one who could be in the shake up..
November 12, 2015 at 14:43 #1221329If he runs I think Rennetti is a cracking bet at the prices. Ran well on the flat recently and has some smart form as a novice over hurdles….
November 12, 2015 at 20:20 #1221394Might be unoriginal Zamorston, but Mick Jazz is the winner IMO too. I’m on heavily at 10’s, I think he has a lot in hand off 130.
Nabucco the danger for me, he done me a nice turn two weeks ago, I may have a small saver on him on the day.
November 13, 2015 at 14:28 #1221497If Devilment can’t win this off 147 he isn’t the hurdler I think he is.
Mind you, Long Run couldn’t win the PP off 158, so who knows?

November 14, 2015 at 23:01 #1221725On Devilmemt and Nabucco. Good luck to all but particularly to me
November 15, 2015 at 13:44 #1221831A lot of guys get excited at the mention of Double D’s, and I’m hoping Devilment and Days Of Heaven can go well here.
Garde La Victoire took this off a big weight last year, and Devilment has a fighting chance off following in his hoofprints. I think he has taken progressive steps since his Triumph fourth, and he may not have reached his ceiling just yet. Goes well in soft ground and has battling experience of the hill.
Days Of Heaven is better than his Aintree effort at the end of last season. He won the Dovecote at Kempton last term, and was initially thought of an Arkle contender for this campaign. He comes with risks attached, but travels well and has a bit of class, and it’s interesting that connection have kept him over the smaller obstacles for the time being.
This guy is a machine. All he does is work out and pick winners. Talk about fit. You should see him without his shirt off, serious side of beef.
November 15, 2015 at 14:01 #1221833Difficult race this, but I think that NABUCCO is progressing
at a fast rate, and I don’t think the handicapper has caught
up with him yet. I think if he hadn’t fluffed the last at
Ascot last time out, he would have won a tad cosier. Having
said that, if he had, he probably would have been raised more
than the 5lbs that he was given, so it might be a blessing
in a tight finish.I had doubled him up with Maputo in the 1st, he went lame
some time just before the finish and just got beat. Hard to
say if he would have won, but Aidan Coleman said that he was
going to win.Anyway, the 10/1 I took as a single yesterday is still on offer
as we speak on Stan James. I think that’s worth a punt.Good luck all.
November 15, 2015 at 15:24 #1221863That seemed an ‘interesting’ ride given to Devilment.
