I still maintain that she’s the only horse in the sport today capable of attracting non-racing fans.
She is such a unique character. The majority of a horses intelligence is used to simply put one foot in the front of the other – it’s no surprise she’s as good as she is!

It’s ‘The Savage’- Great Prospector biting at Golden Derby in the 1980 tremont stakes. I just think it’s very dramatic and an incredibly rare moment to catch with a camera.
