A highlight on an average day of racing, best get stuck in then.

Two for me each way 6 places.

Snash 10/1 – Improving 4 year old over this trip, may be plenty more to come, won lto.

Misty Grey 8/1 – Another lto winner, strong traveller in good form. Won a novice race here by 7 lengths a few years back.

Racing Post preview reckon high numbers are advantaged, and course form is a help. So i’ve sided with Justanotherbottle ew 5 places.

I hope Blackrod wins but he might not have been done any favours by the draw.

Don’t get me started – the race naming in thread titles in this folder is a pedant’s nightmare!

Juddmonte is a sponsor – it’s the International Stakes!

    It’s Wilfrid, no E!

It’s simply The Derby, the oldest and the best, no Epsom or English prefix required!

It’s the Prix Jacques le Marois!

    Alright, I’ll fetch me coat.

    Note to self

Start deliberately putting the wrong race name down

That will definitely tip me over the edge (if I’m not over it already)!

Justanotherbottle has a very strong affinity for Ripon. He’s bounced back to form at this meeting twice after previous dismal runs and I’m very sure he’ll do the same again.

Easiest Each-Way bet of the day IMO.

Snash at 17/2 for me if he can get over to that rail.
