April 5, 2010 at 12:04 #287660Welcome!
Madison now crucial, hope he stays in, wouldn’t fancy 2 of mine much if he doesn’t!
April 5, 2010 at 12:12 #287664correction: 65 left, 2 ‘no-hopers’ withdrew also
April 5, 2010 at 12:15 #287665If Madison comes out half the field ends up with 11st or more. On current entries you’d have 23 on 11st+.
Chief Dan George still needs 8 to come out at least… At least two of them are running at Fairyhouse today so technically it’s 6

? Silver Birch (Irish)April 5, 2010 at 13:22 #287676Flintoff doesn’t run at Fairyhouse now.
Likely that he will run at Aintree.
Makes a good story for the BBC if it happens. Horse travels to Fairyhouse, scratched at the 11th hour and wins the Aintree National! Imagine that
April 5, 2010 at 13:32 #287679Flintoff is in the 40. The alphabetical list is not the order. 40 is Abbeybraney, 39 Flintoff.

44.Whinstone BoyApril 5, 2010 at 15:59 #287721I would really, really love it if Flintoff won the GN. I’d find it hilarious. Coleman picking the wrong horse two years in a row! He deserves it as punishment for not picking Mon Mome last year. Normally, I could have understood someone rejecting Mon Mome, but the alternative was Stan, who everyone bar 2 or 3 people in the whole world considers a non-stayer. Why pick a horse with no chance instead of a horse with a small chance?
I’d also like it if State Of Play won, as he is one of my favourite horses, but I wouldn’t like to take a short price, unless there was an assurance that the injury had gone away, and wouldn’t come back. I’m concerned about a back injury, because it means that the horse couldn’t be ridden for a while.

April 5, 2010 at 18:44 #287759Wonder if the Wilsons would want to take out Mr Pointment to allow Cerium in. Suspect they may both get a run yet though.

They should both get in… though i would easily pick Mr Pointment over Cerium…
Knowhere’s nearly there!

April 5, 2010 at 19:16 #287768Anyone got any thoughts on Royal Rosa? On 10 5, so i guess will just scrape in.
It’s just on oddschecker most bookies going 100s or 150s, but Paddy Power are on their own at only 50s – it’s a price move today from 100s. Interesting or not? Views welcomeApril 5, 2010 at 19:29 #287770trainer stated he really wants royal rosa to run, and if it came to it would take abbeybraney out

That’s interesting as Abbeybraney has generally been about 50s (some 66s in places).
Couldn’t resist a few bob e/w on RR just now, as i had a few pounds lurking in one of my internet betting accounts.
Just a little ‘side bet’April 5, 2010 at 19:35 #287775yes it caught my eye when i was reading it on sportinglife site
