Fely, why did you feel the need to post that?
Delighted to see Vic Venturi get his season underway today. Won a P2P. Backstage also won on the same card.

He’s off a very winnable mark now too! Good to see he’s still in good enough spirit to win races. Lets just hope he has luck on his side this time!
January 17, 2012 at 20:59 #387195Well based on his Punchestown Gold Cup run in May and his Becher Chase win a few years ago, there’s no doubt the class is there. As you say, let’s hope he gets a decent weight and a bit of luck.
January 18, 2012 at 00:39 #387220The only horse I’ve been interested in for this since last years festival is Junior. Look forward to him being unleashed in the coming weeks………
January 21, 2012 at 15:43 #387678Really chuffed to see According To Pete really putting his National claims forward at Haydock today. I’ve flagged him up so many times as a National horse in the past; it’s great to see him win like that.
January 25, 2012 at 11:33 #388185Last year’s runner up, Oscar Time, is out for the season with an injury.
January 25, 2012 at 15:49 #388218I noticed Chicago Grey is running in the Galmoy by chance & suddenly he’s come onto my radar for Aintree. Bearing in mind who he beat at Cheltenham, I’d say 33s is a very decent price about him.
January 27, 2012 at 13:56 #388518does anyone have any info on the horse baby run this season?
i know this is my horse for the national, but strangely haven’t heard anything of it yet.
January 28, 2012 at 10:32 #388650I think Twisters is quite keen on running him, most likely as Willie’s first National ride.
January 28, 2012 at 21:29 #388809antepost bets on always right, west end rocker and junior

Junior and West End Rocker both at 20/1. I think that either on their preferred ground will run a good race.
January 29, 2012 at 01:13 #388852Well it’s not going to come up heavy in April, so we can forget WER. Thought Chicago Grey ran a very decent race indeed the other day.
January 30, 2012 at 12:39 #389033Damnit, Besahabar won’t be running due to a tendon strain. He is going to head straight for the 2013 race without a prep.
It’s back to the drawing board for me!

As giddy as a child on Christmas Eve!I don,t think they will be published tomorrow tho Peter .

Plus don’t hold your breath on numbers i reckon 90 will be the max entry there are several 2and half milers not qualified and by the the time the committee have sent out their invitations we may be left with the first undersubscribed field since ’99
oh and a quick edit i’msingingtheblues is my choice at this stage.
January 31, 2012 at 01:24 #389129The initial entry stage is at 12pm tomorrow, so probably they’ll be published on Wednesday or maybe even Thursday along with the Supreme Novices’, Neptune Novices’ and Albert Bartlett Hurdle(s).
January 31, 2012 at 11:38 #389155Entries published tomorrow at 12pm.
69 had been made as of 10.45am. Nicholls has made only 2 entries – Niche Market & Neptune Collonges.
