On Chosen Mate + Embittered at bigger prices. Pretty obvious reasons so won’t bother listing lol.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 17, 2021 at 00:33 #1530160I think Or Jaune De Somoza at 33s e/w (6 places) is difficult to ignore. Putting a lot of faith in Gordon to have eeked some improvement as the horse’s form is missing a standout performance. But his last race was his best and this just may have been a target. Even if not, the good ground might bring out some improvement.
Negatives are that he often needs encouragement during a race and put in a jumping mistake or two. Hasn’t finished his races strongly but again his last race was slightly more encouraging in this regard.
Some encouragement from Denise Foster – “We haven’t seen the best of him yet“.Bun Doran was second here in 2019 and might be another who could be value at 33/1. Dropped 10lbs which may always have been the plan as I don’t think horse or trainer liked racing off 160. Genuine concern that the horse isn’t what it used to be – and I find that big races like the Queen Mother can often turn a horse off racing. But the price is fair and a return to form would be no shock.
Not big stakes on either and both e/w. Plenty in it with good claims. Best of luck with yours.

March 17, 2021 at 08:49 #1530193Took the shotgun approack with a few buttons ew 6 places
Not that Fuisse had a wind op and I like the trainer
Moonlighter I’ll get a run for my money anyway and think David Bass will really be on his wavelengthBun Doran as per Pajo above
Capuccimix I have no solid case to make for him but always had half an eye on him and this was the plan. I like the jockey and if the trainer thought he was worth bringing, I’m interested.

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 17, 2021 at 10:45 #1530221Zanza 12-1 ew 5 places.
March 17, 2021 at 11:53 #1530258Quite liked the angle of Old Course form here as opposed to GA form and Bun Doran definitely fits the bill at an e/w price. Good luck everyone.

March 17, 2021 at 16:31 #1530384WD winners
Both my pics were hampered by the faller. Zanza mostly has been backed based of his form with Sky Pirate and Ibleo. Seeing them finish 1st and 3rd, surely Zanza would have had a grean chance.
March 17, 2021 at 17:36 #1530411You know your luck is out when you back two and one falls and takes the other out of the race.
