His horses are in rather catastrophic form. No matter if Tiger Roll will win or not, his stable has to be the disappointment of the Festival so far.
But there are some 17 races left for them….
expected more of them to at least be fighting it out at the finish. Any explanations offered

The explanation is this is the most competitive NH meeting of the year and he has had one winner already.
Wheres the disaster here? Nothing at all wrong with how his horses are running.
The one that should have won did win very comfortably.
There was a fair chance Elliott was out of form; judged not just on early Cheltenham runners but also his 20 odd runners before Cheltenham… And I had a couple of good results opposing his in the first two races today. However, with two winners in the later races and some others running well/to form in defeat – can’t be anything wrong with them.
Value Is EverythingI’m slightly concerned about Tizzard’s form too. Mister Malarky & The Russian Doyen ran reasonable races in defeat but his others have run shockers. Could be just as Potato says, but the stable form beforehand was also poor and the running of Lostintranslation today will be key for me
I’m concerned about the Tizzard form, It was the Elliot form I had zero concern about.
Straws to clutch at are those 2 horses ran quite well, would certainly feel a lot better if Tizz can get on the board today but it is as it is and what will be will be.

I am more than slightly concerned with Tizzard form, Tonge.
At the beginning of Wednesday I had Gordon on 5 out of 10 in my trainer form.
At the beginning of today Tizzard is 3/10.
