So who exactly released the photo into the media just before Cheltenham?
You would think Elliott would have wanted that photo immediately deleted as he would have known that when you take a photo on your mobile it can sometimes get get shared with a number of Apps you might have for saving pictures. Who knows who it was shared with.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 20, 2021 at 16:52 #1531567Well the IHRB report states that the head lad captioned the picture and shared it with five others. Who knows how many people those five shared it with?
I doubt they will ever find out who leaked it.
March 20, 2021 at 17:32 #1531572My money would be on the Labaik lads.
Value Is EverythingMarch 20, 2021 at 19:16 #1531580I’d go with that too Ginge.
Elliott must have upset someone within that group and paid the price.
There must be more to this than meets the eye.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 20, 2021 at 19:40 #1531588I thought you wrote only “the Lads”…. That would have been quite odd.
March 20, 2021 at 19:45 #1531591The lads might want Joseph to be Champion Trainer, Ruby.
Value Is EverythingMarch 20, 2021 at 19:52 #1531592Good one, Ginge.
He looks to be booked for 4th for the near future. JP had an awful Festival with just one winner, still Joseph was a bit unlucky with quite a few seconds. But he lacks the material for the Championship races.
For the time being he’ll do well to stay in 4th behind WPM, HDB and GE.I wonder what the future holds for Gavin Cromwell and whether Emmet Mullins will get more decent horses as well.
March 21, 2021 at 01:26 #1531613I wouldn’t be surprised if Joseph O’Brien quits NH racing to concentrate on selling good to middling middle and long distance horses to Australia and increasing his “market share” of very good Flat horses at all distances and doing more handling of future stallion prospects.
March 21, 2021 at 20:17 #1531747A fine summation here of the truth of Cheltenham 2021. The final word, for now
March 21, 2021 at 20:24 #1531750He’s pretty good at that, isn’t he?
Just look at his two NH main Owners: JP and Gigginstown, both are operating with a lower strike rate. Gigginstown will be gone in a few years and JP doesn’t seem to have many horses for the Championship races.March 22, 2021 at 01:07 #1531888I’ll have a lamb vindaloo and chips please.

April 1, 2021 at 13:20 #1533881People need to realise that Irish racing is all about keeping the elite going. We just received emails about point to points re-starting. This was the message from Kavanagh:
“This limited restart of Point-to-Points is welcome and will allow handlers to run their horses in these
important categories… and hopefully will provide some welcome relief for the Point-to-Point
community.”
What he means by ‘important categories’ is that these are limited to 4 and 5yo races. The ‘important’ people are clearly not the amateurs who created, ran and supported pointing to make it the vibrant sport that it used to be. They are the money makers. As they say here, ‘I hope it stays fine for them’.April 2, 2021 at 01:26 #1533954Nearly a quarter of a million quid for that ewe necked, herring gutted yoke? <misses point>
January 14, 2022 at 18:21 #1578014Gordon is doing really fine this season. His six month break was well spent and the horses are better than ever. He lost the Cheveley Park string, but Gigginstown’s departure might hurt him more.
Oh, and no more signs of a depression. Good for him…..
January 15, 2022 at 21:30 #1578265I was quite surprised to note that Coolmore owned son of Soldier of Fortune, Jack In The Box, runs for Elliott tomorrow in Punchestowns 115. Is this a common occurence?
