There is still so much unanswered here. I have no proof whatsoever but a video shot in 2016 and a picture taken in 2019; are these coincidences? Don’t think so, I think there’s more at play here. Have the IHRB completed their investigations now? Is there an outstanding investigation involving Rob james? Transparency in racing indeed!
We still need to know all the participants in the Elliot photo. With regards Rob james, do we know who the horse was? Who’s gallops this was on and who all the other people in the video are? I presume there would be a fair chance that a lot of these are still involved in racing.
Finally, and it could be completely innocent, but i have a Cheltenham festival database i set up (just the last seven years so far) and noticed that the only ride Rob james has had in that timeframe was the 2020 kim muir!

We have been told the horses are well looked after, and these events were ‘two-off’ isolated incidents. So that is that apparently! Oh, and Elliotts been demoted to assistant trainer for 3 months.

I think that is supposed to be as transparent as it gets. We should now mind our own again, as always, and let them all get on with it.

I feel insulted. Its bloody condescending, and people like Ham telling me I’m not allowed to be absolutely disgusted can get stuffed to be frank.

    Thar she blows !!!

The Gordon Elliot Murder Club is now growing steel capped boots and you may all cast your mind back to the Ray Cochrane thread ( helicopter crash) where feathers flew and heads rolled sideways….

Howards Way – Trainer – Surely there’s enough carcass in this for Gotcha Gordon. David McCallum is 87 and must still have some yardage and I’m pretty handy with a Glock 42.

Agree with you Tattling (also Jac and Worzel)…. If it’s been some sort of organised blackmailing, there must be someone from the inside as well. It would be interesting to know which people were involved while the photograph was taken.

I also wonder how much Elliott paid for Labaik since the horse couldn’t go throuh the sales ring at that time. Dealing with organised gangsters isn’t a daily routine, so I guess Mr. Elliott tried to get rid of them and failed.

It still doesn’t explain why Rob James sat on a dead horse three years prior to the Morgan incident.

Gamble, I’m not sure I understand everything you say lol but thanks for advice on quotes, I will study it later, when I have more time. I am def female, not a Virgo but a leo- not a typical Leo tho, too quiet! I have an eye for detail where horses are concerned – Morgan also has not a mark of sweat on him, doesn’t even look like he’s had a saddle or bridle on, its summer there would usually be a bit of sweat or definately marks from saddle, girth and bridle. The bay mare in the Rob James video, has a lovely shiny coat, not a hair out of place, no way has she had a saddle on that day, a sunny day, there would def be marks from her girth. Re the DM article, I personally don’t think it had anything to do with Labaiks owners- I think GE would like us to think that, as it paints him in a better light than the alternative – the boyfriend of the stable girl he was ermm having relations with. Talking of Labaik, there were people saying he was dead long, long before Elliot ever did with Elliot saying no he was out in the field. There seems to be something sordid about this yard and horse deaths, nothing seems straightforward: Labaik, Easyland, Morgan, and didn’t he have the horse that dropped down dead BEFORE a race? That’s a fair few heart problems, I wonder how many more there’s been.

Cheveley Park showing honour, as they do continued business with Sheikh Mo 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What a forum this is.

Jancatlady, There has been numerous yards with dead horses long before the public is known. Closutton for one and Seven Barrows another.

Remember when Hendo was caught doping the queens horse and got 6 months? (Yes he was also still training those animals). No? Didn’t think so.

look closely at the pic, Morgan was not a healthy horse before he died, he has a muscular neck, big belly and a back end that doesn’t match – jutting out hip bones and muscle wastage on the quarters

    An excellent contribution Jan

Is it possible that the carcass had been lying there for several days and the big belly you mention is the result of post mortem bloating caused by the gases produced during the early stages of putrefaction?

Someone on this thread observed that the horse’s eyes appear to be missing which, if true, might also indicate that the carcass had been there long enough for crows or whatever to feast on them

Furthermore, might the apparent jutting bones and muscle wastage be a manifestation of the relaxation of the musculature after the circa 48 hour period of rigor mortis stiffening, rather than it being the state of the horse when alive?

Curiouser and curiouser; and possibly sicker and sicker

Thanks for the article, Botchy. It is quite informative and pretty detailed, but what I don’t understand is what happened to Mr. Boylan’s refurbished home, if it has been financed by the proceeds of crime?

I also still don’t know who took the picture and if there is an outside ongoing investigation behind the motives of this entire action (possible blackmailing and sharing of that photograph through social media).

Drone, I don’t think a horse would lose muscle like that over a day or two, especially as his neck has kept all muscle. His belly may possibly bloat a bit but they’re not like cows, different digestion, not so gassy or they’d get colic all the time. Im not sure if there’s an eye missing, difficult to tell – what a gory post this is,sorry. Personally any horses I’ve had put down look exactly the same the next day when they’re buried. When the pic first came out, people were saying it was Easyland but that was obv wrong as he’d died around Xmas but one person said no its Morgan, he broke a leg and was put down. So he was right about the name(before it became publicly known),so maybe a broken pelvis which would fit with that image. Another thing I saw was from an ex-work rider there, saying GE was nasty to the horses saying he liked to “bait them” stubbing cigarettes out on them. Now I don’t know if he smokes so that could be a load of rubbish, just the terminology sounded right, its how the Irish lads describe teasing a horse.

    Thanks for that Jan

Is it the usual practice to bury racehorses as soon as possible, or are some sent to Knacker’s Yards for rendering, as is the case with farm deadstock deemed unsuitable to enter the foodchain?

Should make it clear that I’ve no problem with some being sent to the knackerman; infact it could be construed as being less of a waste of a life than burial

    Highly interesting once more Jan.
The Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 would bite into any property bought with proceeds from illegal drug activities. If the respondent failed to pay the sum certain requested by a certain date, then a recovery order could be brought in the High Court forcing the sale of direct or associated assets.

    @Matron
…Yes a light aircraft indeed as few survive the spiralling downward trajectory of a stricken Whirlybird. If ever you were unfortunate enough to free fall from a plane unintentionally, after quickly performing the catching your breath manoevre, and a sideways glance at the spectacular view, your best advised to arch your body into a banana shape then raise those legs slightly before pummeling the ground. If you do it right – you may even be able to walk away more or less intacta, but rather unfortunately, only about half your previous size.

Drone, very few racehorses will be buried, only the very special ones might get to be buried at the trainers, most owners don’t have their own land. Mine weren’t racehorses they were my own mares I’d had for over 20yrs and were buried on the farm. In Ireland they’ll be “off to the factory”. They seem more blasé about it over there.
