    Regrettable injuries so far at the meeting would lead one to wonder if the going is uniformly “good.” If I was an owner the priority would be that my horse returned soundly. Not a day to lump on I’d suggest!

    I don’t think there is any issue with the ground, just extremely unlucky set of circumstance and as Alan King said:

    “It was nobody’s fault, I thought the ground was in wonderful condition and it was just an unfortunate thing that happens sometimes in racing.”
