can we have a rematch sometime soon.most of us on TRF had swine flu
August 1, 2009 at 23:48 #242185Well done to all at FF – a fine performance and well done to all who posted for TRF – at least we got a team out everyday and made a match of it (sort of)
August 2, 2009 at 00:09 #242186You lot seemed badly in need of the run, and the 1/6 favourites duly hacked up.
Thanks for participating, and I’m sure that in the future given a bit more notice, you guys will be able to do a lot better.
I hope you all enjoyed it anyway.
August 2, 2009 at 02:22 #242204Well done FF and er… good try us
hopefully a rematch soonAugust 2, 2009 at 14:52 #242246Well done to the guys and gals at Final Furlong, they have a very good record in these challenge matches, so it was no disgrace to get beat by them
I really enjoyed taking part so thanks for that as well
Well done to us and maybe next time it will be a different storyWhat about the York Ebor meeting
August 2, 2009 at 20:19 #242315Very many thanks Ted. I think it’s safe to say we were a bit short of a gallop or two, dwelt in the stalls, spread a plate and coughed after the race. We’ll strip a lot fitter next time out.
Rematch for York?
August 3, 2009 at 16:28 #242401Yes, I’m sure we could do that.
August 4, 2009 at 00:44 #242448Yes, I’m sure we could do that.
I hope TRF unleash their Big guns this time! It will be a lot closer if they do!
August 4, 2009 at 01:07 #242453Bring it on then, we’ve got some big guns too, including three two time 4PP winners, as well as the leader of the current 4PP competition

Ted, forgive my ignorance, but what is a "4PP" ?
I think if TRF played their Strongest hand, you would need a Royal Flush to beat the "4 Aces" and i would go 10/11 TRF and 11/10 FFAugust 4, 2009 at 11:09 #242474Yes, I’m sure we could do that.

That puts me out of the team then, I’m more like a pea shooter when it comes to picking winners
August 4, 2009 at 13:50 #242484What is the 4PP?
How long have you been a member of this forum?
Bring out your big guns, let’s see what happens.
August 4, 2009 at 16:40 #242501Yep – the artillery are being mustered, the naval fleet have called reveille and the TRF Air Force are preparing the stealth bombers as I write.
August 5, 2009 at 23:51 #242680Well I suggest you give them plenty of warning, because the last match was a piece of cake for our all star lineup.

Did we have enough entries for this? first I knew was the day before.
Give us a big WARNING! a few days before and we’ll get a good team together. I have a couple for York that will rock their boat
August 8, 2009 at 01:32 #243003Whatever happens at York, its Cheltenham that counts and TRF will whoop FF then, i would have "Himself", "Imperial Call", "Grasshopper", "Fist", "Rob North", "Carvills Hill" "DavidJohnson", "Aragorn" "Irish Stamp" and "Gaz"s way de Solzen"
