You know you said not to back any other horse in the race King?
I’ve just done the opposite!
50 points @ Evens So You Think
33.33 points @ 2/1 Workforce
10 points @ 9/1 Snow Fairy
2.5 points @ 40/1 Sri Putra
0.5 points @ 200/1 ConfrontAll @ b365!

GUARANTEED PROFIT!
Value Is EverythingJuly 2, 2011 at 12:26 #363195William Hill have a win both Coral Eclipse and Prix De L’arc De Triomphe offer on So You
Think
and
Workforce
, at 9 and 10-1 respectively. If your predictions are right Kingfisher, snaffling both up shouldn’t be a problem for your preferred horse if he goes well today

Edit: SYT out to evens as suspected, but WF out to 2-1 on both Bet365 and Ladbrokes.
Well spotted there ‘wildman’i have to take your advice on that as
Workforce
is currently 4/1 for the Arc and if he does do the business today that will surely go 3’s.Cheers!

Workforce
£100 to win Eclipse and Arc, 10/1 William Hill.
£6525
July 2, 2011 at 12:42 #363197Joni,i wasn’t over impressed with the ride Richard Hughes gave her but i defineately felt she ran flat, perhaps was sent to the well a bit too quickly after her other 2 Oaks victories,i thought the same about her Leger run too, more so than lacking stamina, after a couple of months off she returned with 2 Awesome displays in the far East, much more like the Snow Fairy we knew, anyway i would expect a re-match with Midday in this years race,we’ll see then!

Mmmmm – not sure you might be doing Midday disservice there – she was brilliant that day. But as you say, another argument for another day. Roll on 3.10!

Ok Ginge,i cant fault you for protecting your stake and obviously making a guaranteed profit is the ultimate aim so well done, there are times i do it myself laying in running etc. However on this occassion you are a traitorous treachorous b*stard, this is a battle today you are either in one camp or the other,i the leader of my army of loyal
Workforce
supporters will fight this Aussie invader today, its not about playing the prices for me on this occassion its about going toe-toe with a horse that has its own passionate supporters who too think their charge will prevail in this War of attrition. This is not a race, this is a battle, there’s no place for the Grey man (Ginger in your case) today! I’m gettin revved up now…..
July 2, 2011 at 12:49 #363199Merigo,good luck with
Sharaayeen
at Haydock today, your 16/1 is beginning to look like a solid e/w investment, the draw is kind and you would think the ground is more suitable than at Ascot. Are you the sort who will lay enough off to protect your stake or will you let it ride knowing 4th place should be guaranteed at least?
July 2, 2011 at 12:55 #363200Whatever
Kingsgate Native
does today will have No bearing at all on the outcome of the Eclipse,he is quite capable of winning but never runs 2 races the same so it wont bother me in the slightest if he doesn’t feature.
July 2, 2011 at 13:36 #363205Can’t believe Mac was making out like Kingsgate Native’s run was a negative for Workforce. Embarrassing. A sprinter best fresh who’s gone at the game.
July 2, 2011 at 13:40 #363207THIS IS INCREDIBLE. EVERYBODY SHOULD SIT UP AND TAKE NOTICE. I’VE HAD A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!! HIGHLAND KNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT ABOUT NIGHT CARNATION AND THOUGHT MAYBE BALDING’S ON FOR A DOUBLE, NOTICED HE WAS 2ND TO DANCE AND DANCE LAST TIME OUT, WONDERED WHERE I’D HEARD HIS NAME BEFORE AND PUT £50 ON AT 13/1. UNBELIEVABLE. A WINNER!!!! I FEEL LIKE MICHAEL STOUTE WITH THAT HORSE WINNING YESTERDAY!!!! A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING GOING ON WORKFORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Excuse the caps, but I’d basically given up. The last 3 weeks have been as bad as anything and probably worse than anything I’ve ever experienced.)
July 2, 2011 at 13:56 #363210GERTRUDE BELL!!!!!!!!! ANOTHER WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND VITA NOVA SHOULD’VE ABSOLUTELY PISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
July 2, 2011 at 14:05 #363213So You Think Workforce has the game to beat the Aussie Kingfisher?
The way I look at it is this: So You Think simply must win this race from Coolmore’s perspective. Ballydoyle will have left no stone unturned today because they won’t want a repeat of Ascot. He has the right man on his back and I’m sure O’brien will have him cherry ripe today. On the other hand Workforce’s main target for the season is the Arc, and it won’t be the end of the world if he gets beaten today. The extra 2 furlongs will only help him then, although he’s not short of speed. Essentially I think this is D-Day for So You Think and he’ll produce the goods. Either way, let’s hope it’s a cracking race, and good luck.
July 2, 2011 at 14:23 #363220Well done Zark!
Had all the profit on Workforce
Thought he had it a furlong out.I’m absolutely stunned by So You Think. Where was that at Ascot?
July 2, 2011 at 14:26 #363223My voice is hoarse thm,it was a fantastic race and the best horse (on the day) won, tactically it all went wrong for Workforce and he was there to be shot at and So You Think did just that,it had to be a fast time and the pair have to meet over further at some point, the result was good for racing and i cant wait for a re-match over 11/2m!
July 2, 2011 at 14:33 #363227Great great race and a fantastic winner. Workforce had it exactly how he wanted it with the pacemaker making room turning in and then trying to hem in the winner. No excuses. Two wonderful horses and would also love to see a rematch at 1m 4f!

July 2, 2011 at 14:42 #363236Fantastic race, and thankfully it evolved into the duel everyone wanted. The stage is set perfectly for a rematch over 12 furlongs, possibly the Arc? Can’t see So You Think taking in the King George, that race looks perfect for St Nic/Await the Dawn. Workforce was there to be shot at but I’d say that was the plan, to try outstay the Aussie, considering how he faded in the final 50 yards at Ascot. All credit to Seamie Heffernan too.
Where next for Workforce? KG?

The time of 2m,4.77 secs says it all Joni, that was fast but i’m not sure Confront deserves any praise or shall we say Jimmy Fortune as Workforce has set it up for the fav.Anyone who knows their horses has to say the one paced cart horse picked up and quickened off a pace like that is better than i thought. The Arc will see Workforce coming from off a fast pace and i will be staying loyal but the winner proved today he is something special, over 11/4m anyway! Well done all those who supported him!
July 2, 2011 at 14:50 #363242Unbelievable, back to form with a bang. £60 on Chiberta King at 8/1, lovely stuff. £420 up and even had £500 on Workforce. Had £60 on Bourne too, so my last 5 bets read 11221. Incredible. I backed Djokovic to win Wimbledon 6 weeks ago, £250 at 7/2 so I’m concentrating on that now.
July 2, 2011 at 15:04 #363250keep the faith Zarkava,we burnt our fingers today but its only money loaned, you will have a nightmare watching Djokovic tomorrow, you feel the pressure big time on tennis as it drags on so long,i know from experience having had a treble on
Spain
,Euro 2008
Nadal
Wimbledon 2008 and
Duke of Marmalade
King George 2008,never again mate,i felt the pressure big time myself when Papal Bull loomed alongside!
