Wonder if connections will consider supplementing Panic Attack for this if nothing imposes itself between now and the confirmation stage? She was stunning today – the best round of jumping I have seen for many a year.
January 14, 2026 at 16:02 #1750463She’s very talented but that would be a step to far , if she was mine id be thinking Aintree Bowl , she’s a wee superstar and Bobby must love her to
January 14, 2026 at 16:17 #1750468Go for it
A horse sired by Canford Cliffs winning a Cheltenham Gold Cup
Frankel. who?Charles Darwin to conquer the World
January 14, 2026 at 16:52 #1750475She’s a quality jumper, got the trip well enough in The Coral Gold Cup, gets an allowance, what’s not to like?
If the horse is fit and well and in form which appears very much the case then don’t be left guessing at home in the stable.January 14, 2026 at 18:26 #1750488She’s got mountains to find , surely if you want to find if she’s graded level then you,d find something easier
January 14, 2026 at 19:10 #1750491She would receive the allowance and jumps well. But she has only won two handicaps and a Listed race at long odds on. I can’t see that being anywhere near good enough to compete with Grade 1 horses.
January 15, 2026 at 10:58 #1750523It’s the jumping with Inothewayurthinkin
I’ve seen Gold Cup winners run below their best before but they tend to race sluggishly and finish tamely
Cromwell’s horse seems to forget which sport he’s in and it’s mostly the incredible engine he’s got which won him the Gold Cup
Yard had an abysmal November, brief respite in December with 9 winners but are now back in the doldrums, making it 10 winners from 234 runners since November 1st
January 15, 2026 at 11:04 #1750524That Listed race yesterday was a complete non event the only thing that could have beaten her was herself. But why not have a go she appears to be thriving this season.
The more I know the less I understand.
January 15, 2026 at 11:20 #1750526Yes, a walkover yesterday really but proved her wellbeing. Sporting connections might well give it ago and I think they should.
January 15, 2026 at 17:23 #1750544Watched a few podcasts this week and a lot in Ireland reckon the Cromwell horse is gone , funnily enough the bookies don’t agree
January 15, 2026 at 17:25 #1750545He might be gone but I can understand the bookmakers not taking any chances with his connections.
January 15, 2026 at 18:17 #1750551Cromwell horses currently running at a 0% strike rate and 8% since May. If his horses perk up in March I expect he’ll bang in a winner or 3.
January 15, 2026 at 20:28 #1750574Love Panic Attack but she more likely to go for the mare chase then the Gold Cup, also read she will get an entry for the Grand National

January 16, 2026 at 12:38 #1750618According to her owner on SSR now, the Ryanair might be considered for Panic Attack. No mention of the Gold Cup.
