Michael Jarvis’s Khateeb looks decent value at 15/2 (BF 2nd Fav) to defy top weight and could be different class to his rivals in my estimation. He had a Sussex Stakes entry and his traffic experiences at his listed Ascot outing behind the decent Collection could help him negotiates this afternoon’s large field.

August 1, 2008 at 13:21 #175660Apologies Batman,
On hols in West Cork at moment so betting opportunities and internet access not very satisfacory.
Our two topweights yesterday finishing last! Khateeb didn’t look at all prepared for downhill Goodwood – a poor training effort!
I don’t seem to have got a handle on the going at Goodwood this week so I’m just going to limit myself to watching the 2yo races later this afternoon.
