Cheers GT – They must have been bowled over at the 9/2. Yanworth was mighty impressive today. Seems that the VC 9/2 only lasted a minute or so then into 7/2 at @ 3.12pm then into 5/2 @ 4.01pm. See link below

    http://www.oddschecker.com/cheltenham-festival/neptune-novices-hurdle/winner/bet-history/yanworth/today

Found this by clicking on horses name on oddschecker – quite a useful function.

    Useful link, cheers Mtoto.
It seems at the time of my Yanworth post (3:16) the price available had gone down to 7/2, so will change the bet to 72. :good:

I check that function alot, very useful but not always 100% accurate of exact times of change, I’ve seen prices still up on oddschecker which have already gone with a firm and they put the time change up when the price updates with oddschecker. On the whole though good.

    66 points @ 7/2 (VC) Yanworth* (min 7/2)

Having looked at this race a few more times, Yanworth’s performance appears even better. So if you aren’t already on I suggest backing him at anything better than 2/1.

so you quoted a price/bet you did not place, sorry if i have read that wrong but that does seem a bit odd.
Not having a dig ginger(as i enjoy this thread)just thought you must have bagged 9/2
apologizes if i have read the situation wrongly(which is more than likely)

I’d have backed Yanworth at 9/2 or 7/2 if I could NWalton, Victor Chandler (9/2 and 7/2) and Bet Fred (7/2) don’t allow me to bet with them. At the time – I originally assessed his chance as a fair 3/1 shot, so couldn’t back Yanworth with bookmakers I’ve got accounts with because 3/1 and less wasn’t imo (at that time) value. Every bet is about value.

However, I’ve since watched the race a few times and the performance is better than I originally thought, believing him around a fair 2/1 shot. So I have backed him at around 5/2.

thanks for the reply GT,good luck in future. It was just that i couldn’t make out that you put up the price/bet but you had not actually got those prices.
As you say it is so hard to get on these days,i and my son have to get up to london if we want a decent lump on,online is a total waste of time (90% of the time you wont be allowed it on)

As said thanks for reply and hope you make plenty
