Hopefully Rocky Rider or Azmaam will finish the day as it started.
Change of tactics for Rocky Rider, hated it.
Wanted to be against the favourite/winner because did not believe he’d act on the ground. Not sure he did but still won.
Azmaam’s late drift told a tale, 7/2 out to almost double that! Although think I made a mistake there. Seemed a more truly run race than I expected and the head wind placed far more emphasis on stamina than a slowly run affair and tail wind last time. You need to stay at Newmarket today.Value Is EverythingMay 2, 2015 at 20:45 #9338751000 Guineas Already backed:

6 points @ 16/1 (B365) Local Time (min 16/1)I still make Jellicle Ball value @ 6/1 or bigger. 8/1 available now, but I believe she’s Pricewise so you may well get bigger if waiting until tomorrow morning.
No longer make Fadhayyil value at her current price.Value Is EverythingMay 3, 2015 at 01:03 #9340314:50 Newmarket

Thanks David, early signs are encouraging but it is early days for the thread. A few poor days and all the profit could disappear.

Thanks Joni,
I’d have loved to meet you all again but unfortunately am going on holiday that day. Only week my girlfriend could get off work. Will be the first Lockinge I’ve missed in decades. Have a great day.Value Is EverythingMay 6, 2015 at 13:52 #9433992:40 Chester

23 points @ 14/1 (Sportsbook) Diamondsandrubies* (min 11/1)Taking a bit of a chance she’ll run with so many O’Brien fillies entered/fancied. But one half of the ownership is a different person than most Ballydoyle horses and the dam was 1/2 length second at Epsom in 2002. Staying is her job so less likely to drop back to the French Oaks. I myself doubt the Guineas filly will run when they have fewer mile fillies than middle-distance.

Returns Today 266.5Season Stakes 1,649.8 points
Season Return 2,523.2 points
Season Profit +873.4 pointsShame Gabrial’s King could not get through when he wanted to, losing out to speedier types. None too pleased with Curtis on Buthelezi, may look soundly beaten, but he gives up if unable to lead, got the lead and then surrendered it too easily, the horse predictably giving up once passed. Winner got an unusually good run for one drawn wide… But that’s Chester for you. Always happy with a profitable day there.
